BU Women's Rugby

Team serious. We could leave it at that and always remember how great of a teammate Carley was to us but that would be silly now wouldn't it! Carley has been part of the rugby team for 5 semesters now and had made a great impact in our lives on and off the field. We had the awesome chance to have her as one of our captains and she helped us grow as a team so much. It's crazy that she's graduating in the Spring and we will miss her so much! Especially all the laughs she spreads and how much she genuinely cares about this team for as long as she's been here. Thanks Carley, we love you!!! 

You can always count on Walker to keep our team in line. Whether she realized it or not, her talks at practices and before each game helped us focus and concentrate one the number 1 reason we were all together, to play rugby! Walker was one of our captains and always knew when it was time to bring our A game and when it was time to have fun. She brings liveliness to our team, and you can always count on her to be there for you and to calm you down when things get out of control during the game. We are so lucky to have her here for a couple more semesters; after all you can never have too much rugby in your life! Thanks Walker, we love you!!!

 Ohio! Moni loves Ohio, but she also loves rugby so much! We want to thank Moni for being such a big part of the team and someone that we looked up to when we were learning about the game. She's been here for 7 semesters and was the President these past 2 semesters and is so knowledgeable about the game and wanted us all to get better. Every game Moni wanted to see someone new score. Whether she was attacking us on the field to pump us up or hanging out at a social, Moni was always looking out for the best of the team. We will miss you so much Moni! Thanks Mon, we love you!!!

 8 semesters, the grandma, need I say more? We love you black! You have been a part of this team longer then any of us and that in itself is awesome. You have helped each one of us, especially newer teammates, with our game. You know what it means to step it up on the field and you help us all become more aggressive. We will definitely miss you black and all the craziness and fun you brought to the team. Thanks black, we love you!!!

 Shmegan, our wonderful 8 man. She has been a part of the team for 5 semesters. Shmegs is a very busy girl but she always found time for her rugby girls! She always pushed us to do our best on the field and made sure to help anyone out who didn't understand what was going on. We are going to miss you a lot Shmeg! Thanks Shmeg, we love you!!!
